2. Remove the air filter (see chapter 4).
3. Disconnect the crankcase ventilation tube from the cylinder head cover.
4. Remove any wires and/or brackets mounted on the cover.

5. Remove the upper camshaft belt guard (see Section 7 of this Chapter).
6. Remove nuts, washers and rubber bushings, then lift the cover. If it is stuck, do not insert any lever between the cover and the cylinder head. Use a wooden mallet to knock the lid off with light blows.
7. If necessary, clean the cover and cylinder head from the remnants of the old gasket.
8. When installing the cover, use a new gasket. Tighten nuts of fastening with the effort specified in the specification to this Chapter.
9. Establish the removed knots and details upside-down.
10. Start the engine and check for oil leaks from under the cover, while the oil temperature should be close to the operating temperature.
