1. Remove the drive belt and camshaft sprocket (see Section 7).
2. Measure the depth of the gland in the socket, then carefully remove the gland using a special extractor or a screwdriver. Be careful not to damage the seal seat and/or the surface of the shaft journal to avoid oil leakage.
3. Clear a nest of an epiploon and grease a new epiploon with engine oil.
4. Using a tool head or a pipe with an outer diameter slightly smaller than the gland diameter, carefully drive in a new gland. Try to hammer the gland to the same depth as the old one.
5. Install the camshaft sprocket and drive belt (see Section 7).
6. Start the engine and check for oil leaks near operating temperature.
