2. Install the camshaft in the TDC. Label «UP» And on the camshaft sprocket should be on top, and the marks of the top dead center (TDC) The B on the sprocket should line up with the top edge of the cylinder head.
3. Install the timing chain on the crankshaft sprocket so that the colored chain link A is aligned with the mark B on the crankshaft sprocket.
4. Install the timing chain on the camshaft sprocket so that the colored link of the chain A is aligned with the mark B on the camshaft sprocket.
5. Install timing chain guide A and timing chain tensioner arm B.
6. Install the auto tensioner.
7. Remove the gauge or stop pin from the auto tensioner.
8. Check if the oil pump gasket is damaged. If the oil seal is damaged, replace it.
9. Remove the remnants of the old liquid gasket from the mating surfaces of the oil pump, bolts and their holes.
10. Clean and dry the mating surfaces of the oil pump.
11. Apply an even coat of Liquid Sealant P/N 08C70-K0234M, 08C70-K0334M, or 08C70-X0331S to the engine block mating surface of the oil pump.
12. Apply liquid sealant to the oil pump mating surfaces on top of cylinder block A and main bearing housing B.
13. Apply Liquid Sealant P/N 08C70-K0234M, 08C70-K0334M, or 08C70-X0331S in an even coat to the oil pan mating surface of the oil pump.
Note. If 5 minutes or more has elapsed after applying the liquid sealant, do not install the components. Instead, remove the old layer of liquid sealant and apply a new layer.
14. Install a new O-ring A on the oil pump. Fit the lip of oil pump B to the lip of oil pan C, then install the pump on the engine block D. Loosely screw in the set bolts E, then tighten the 8mm bolts F. Tighten the 6mm bolts G and the set bolts. Wipe excess liquid sealant from mating surfaces of oil pan and oil pump.
Note. When installing the oil pump, do not allow the bottom surface of the oil pump to slide along the surface to be connected to the oil pan.
Wait 30 minutes before adding oil to the engine.
Do not start the engine for at least 3 hours after installing the oil pump.
15. Install engine side mount bracket A, then lightly tighten new bolt and nut B and bolt C.
16. Install the connection cable with «weight» body D.
17. Remove the air cleaner housing assembly.
18. Loosen the bolts and nuts of the transmission mounting bracket A.
19. Raise lift to maximum height.
20. Loosen the lower torque arm mounting bolt A.
21. Lower the machine on the lift.
22. Tighten the mounting bolts/nuts of the engine side support bracket.
24. Raise the lift to its maximum height.
25. Tighten the lower torque arm mounting bolt.
26. Lower the car on the lift.
27. Install the air cleaner housing assembly.
28. Install the upper torque rod A, then tighten the new upper torque rod mounting bolts in the numerical sequence.
29. Establish a bolt In fastenings of a tube of the conditioner.
30. Reinstall the crankshaft pulley.
31. Install the positive crankcase ventilation hose (PCV).
32. Install the cylinder head cover.
33. Install the automatic drive belt tensioner.
34. Install the bottom engine cover.
35. Install the front wheels.
36. Perform the computer diagnostic procedure for the position of the crankshaft (TFR) / diagnostic procedure based on the reference position of the TFR sensor.
