2. Clean and dry the mating surfaces of the oil pan.
3. Apply a uniform coat of liquid sealant P/N 08C70-K0234M, 08C70-K0334M or 08C70-X0331S to the surface of the oil pan that meets the engine block.
Note: If 5 minutes or more have passed since applying liquid sealant, do not install components. Instead, remove the old layer of liquid sealant and apply a new layer.

4. Install the guide pins A, then install the oil pan B with new O-rings C.
5. Tighten the bolts in two or three stages. In the final stage, tighten all the bolts one by one to 18 N·m. Remove excess liquid sealant from each side of the crankshaft pulley and flywheel.
Note: Wait 30 minutes before adding oil to the engine.
Do not run the engine for at least 3 hours after installing the oil pan.
6. Install clutch housing A and tighten the two gearbox mounting bolts.
7. Install the air conditioner compressor bracket.
8. Remove the lower reaction rod bracket.
9. Connect the oil level sensor connectors A, then install the oil level sensor caps B.
10. Install the two bolts C securing the wire harness holder.

11. If the engine is still not removed from the vehicle, follow these steps:.
12. Lower the car onto the lift.
13. Loosen the lower reaction rod mounting bolt.
14. Raise the machine to the full height of the lift.
15. Install the lower reaction rod.

16. Lower the car on the lift.
17. Tighten the upper reaction rod mounting bolt.
18. Raise the vehicle to the full height of the lift.
19. Install the exhaust pipe A.
20. Lower the car onto the lift.
21. Install the air conditioning compressor. Install the wire harness, then connect the air conditioning compressor clutch connector (with air conditioning).
22. Install the A/C condenser fan shroud A (with air conditioning).
23. Install the drive belt (with air conditioning)
24. Fill the engine with engine oil.
25. Install the lower engine cover.
