2. Remove the steering gear (see section 27).
3. Place a jack under the left reaction arm ball joint (see fig. 2.2).
Attention: the jack must take the entire load of the torsion bar.
4. Disconnect the reaction arm ball pin from the steering knuckle (see section 7).
5. Lower the jack and release the reaction arm from the load.
6. Repeat steps 3, 4, 5 for the right arm.
7. Remove the torsion bar tube holder bolts from the rear ends of both torsion bars (see section 5).
8. Suspend the engine by the eyebolt or place a jack under the oil pan. Place a block of wood between the jack and the pallet.
9. Remove the nuts and bolts of the rear support of the power unit (see chapter 7).
10. Move a jack under the center of the tie and remove the fasteners.

11. Lower the tie down to the ground and remove it from under the vehicle.
12. Installation is made in the return to removal order. Tighten fasteners to the torque specified in specifications.
