Note: The removal algorithm is applicable to both mechanical and power steering. If your car is not equipped with hydraulic booster, just ignore the paragraphs related to hydraulic booster (power steering).
Withdrawal
1. Raise the front of the car on stands. Put the car on the parking brake.
2. Move the pan under the steering gear (only for cars with power steering). Turn away pipelines and muffle them.
3. Mark the relative position of the intermediate propeller shaft and the steering input shaft. Remove the pinch bolt.

4. Remove the tie rod ends from the steering knuckle (see section 25).
5. Turn away bolts of fastening, supporting the steering mechanism. Lower it, remove the cardan shaft and remove the steering gear.

Installation
6. Install the steering mechanism, screw on the bolts and put the cardan joint on the splines of the steering shaft according to the previously made marks.
7. Tighten the mounting bolts.
8. Install the tie rod ends on the steering knuckle (see section 25).
9. Tighten the cardan shaft coupling bolt.
10. Connect the hoses to the steering gear, add fluid to the power steering pump reservoir (see chapter 1).
11. Lower the car and bleed the power steering system (see section 29).
