Gear lever
Fully depress the clutch pedal when shifting gears.
When reverse gear is engaged («R»)
To avoid erroneous shifting directly from 5th gear, it is impossible to switch to reverse «R». First you need to shift into neutral «N», and then turn on reverse gear «R».
Do not engage reverse gear until the vehicle has come to a complete stop, otherwise the transmission may be seriously damaged.
Speed range
To avoid over-revving the engine, accelerate within the speed limits corresponding to each lever position (see table.).
Gear lever position | Speed range |
1 | 0-45 km/h |
2 | 15-85 km/h |
3 | 25-120 km/h |
4 | from 35 km/h |
5 | from 40 km/h |
Do not exceed the engine speed above the critical speed, as this may cause engine damage. Be especially careful when downshifting at high speed. Limit speed - 6800 rpm.
Note:
- Before driving 1000 km, avoid abrupt starting or sudden acceleration, as this may cause damage to the engine, chassis, etc.
- If the engine speed is exceeded, the auxiliary system will cut off the fuel supply.
