Gear shift lever

Gear shift lever

When changing gears, depress the clutch pedal fully.

When reverse gear is engaged ("R")

To avoid erroneous shifts, you cannot shift directly from 5th gear to reverse gear "R". First, you must shift to neutral gear "N", and then engage reverse gear "R".

Do not engage reverse gear until the vehicle has come to a complete stop, otherwise you may seriously damage the gearbox.

Speed range

To avoid overrevving the engine, accelerate within the speed limits corresponding to each lever position (see table).

Gear shift lever positionSpeed range
10-45 km/h
215-85 km/h
325-120 km/h
4starting from 35 km/h
5starting from 40 km/h

Do not exceed critical engine speeds, as this may cause engine failure. Be especially careful when downshifting at high speed. Maximum speed is 6800 rpm.

Note:
  • Before driving 1000 km, avoid sudden starts or sudden acceleration, as this may lead to damage to the engine, chassis, etc.
  • If the engine speed is exceeded, the auxiliary system will stop supplying fuel.
