Note: Warm up the engine to operating temperature before starting the test (until the moment the radiator fan of the cooling system turns on).
1. Apply the parking brake and place chocks under the wheels.
2. Press the brake pedal fully.
3. Start the engine and move the selector to position "D". Briefly press the accelerator pedal all the way down. The engine should not stall.
Caution: The accelerator pedal should not be pressed for a long time (no more than 8 sec).

4. Place the vehicle on a slope (at least 16°), move the selector to position "P" and release the parking brake. The output shaft locking mechanism lock should hold the vehicle in place.
5. Turn off the ignition.
6. Remove the trim panel to gain access to the CVT control unit connector.
7. Connect a multimeter between terminals "A15" and "A23" (or "7X24") of the CVT control unit connector to measure the output voltage of the throttle position sensor.

8. While driving on a level road, check the correspondence of the engine crankshaft speed depending on the vehicle speed at different selector positions (see the "Road test" table).
