1. Start the engine and stop it after one minute, wait 1 minute after stopping.

2. Check for vacuum by pressing the pedal several times. The pedal travel should decrease with each press.

1. With the engine stopped, press the brake pedal several times to let air in.

2. Lightly press the brake pedal and start the engine. If a stable vacuum is created in the brake booster, the pedal should "go" forward.
