2. Apply the parking brake and chock the wheels.
3. Move the selector to position "D" and press the brake pedal. Press the accelerator pedal and release it sharply. The engine must not stall.
4. Repeat the procedures described in paragraph "3" in all positions of the automatic transmission selector.
5. Connect the diagnostic tool to the diagnostic connector DLC (A) and enter the menu "A/T Mode Menu".
6. Select an icon "High Speed".
7. Select the following options: -VSS veh speed;
- Output Shaft (Countershaft) Speed;
- Input Shaft (Malnshaft) Speed (rpm);
- RPM engine speed;
- RelativeTP Sensor;
- APP Sensor D;
- ATP Temp sensor;
- Battery voltage;
- Shift control;
- Brake Switch.
8. Set the following options by selecting "Trigger Type":
- voltage value "APP Sensor B" more than 1 V;
- "recording time" - 60 seconds;
- "Trigger point" - 30 seconds.
9. Click "OK" when you are ready to take the test and start the test.
10. Press the accelerator pedal until the voltage "APP Sensor B" becomes 1 V.
11. Hold the pedal in this position until the car shifts into fifth gear. Then slow down and stop.
12. Save the measured values or increase the value "recording time" to the required value and repeat the steps "9" And "10".
13. Set value "APP Sensor B" equal to 2.5 V.
14. Press the accelerator pedal until the voltage "APP Sensor B" becomes 2.5 V.
15. Hold the pedal in this position until the car shifts into fifth gear. Then slow down and stop.
16. Save the measured values or increase the value "recording time" to the required value and repeat the steps "14" And "15".
17. Press an accelerator pedal against the stop.
18. Hold the pedal in this position until the car shifts into third gear. Then slow down and stop.
19. Save the measured values.
20. Compare the stored data with the values given in the tables "Shift Moments".

21. Drive the car in fourth or fifth gear (selector in position "D"). Move the selector to position "2" (models without manual shift mode) or in position "S" (engaging second gear) (manual shift models). Check for engine braking.
22. Move the selector to position "1" (models without manual shift mode) or in position "S" (first gear) (manual shift models). Check for engine braking.
23. Stop and move the selector to position "R" and fully depress the accelerator pedal. Make sure that there are no extraneous noises and sounds from the gearbox.
24. Set the car on a slope (about 16°) and move the selector to position "R". Make sure the output shaft lock retainer is holding the vehicle in place.
