Reading fault codes
1. The self-diagnosis function is built into the electronic control unit. Using the "D" indicator, the system can warn the driver about a malfunction in the variator.
Sedan.
Hatchback.
2. To determine the fault code, you need to connect the tester to the diagnostic connector and read the code.
a) Connect the tester to the diagnostic connector.

b) Turn on the ignition.
c) Read the fault codes. For detailed information on the procedure for reading fault codes, see the operating instructions for the diagnostic tool.
3. After reading the codes and troubleshooting, delete the codes (see the subsection "Deleting trouble codes").
4. Turn off the ignition and disconnect the diagnostic tool from the diagnostic connector.'
Clearing fault codes
To clear the fault codes, remove fuse No.6 (15 A) (B) from the underhood fuse box (A) for 10 seconds or more.
