2. On a vehicle with drum brakes, remove the drum (see section 5).
3. Following the instructions section 12, loosen the adjusting nut. Remove the cable clamp (see fig. 12.4), unhook the cable from the equalizer.
4. On models with drum brakes, remove the brake shoes (see section 5), disconnect the end of the cable from the lever, press the antennae on the cable holder and push the cable through the hole in the support disk. A 12 mm open-end wrench placed on the end of the cable through the holder will help you.

5. On models with rear disc brakes, remove the clevises connecting the caliper actuator arm (see fig. 3.2), remove the spring clip and remove the cable from the support bracket.
6. Unscrew the bolts securing the cable to the bottom of the car, remember the cable routing pattern. You may have to remove the exhaust pipe heat shield.

7. Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal. Adjust the parking brake cable (see Section 12).
