2. Remove the parking brake equalizer cover.
3. Block the front wheels, raise the rear of the car and place it on stands. Pull the parking brake lever until it clicks.
4. Turn the equalizer adjusting nut clockwise and simultaneously rotate the rear wheel. As soon as the wheel starts to seize, finish the adjustment.

5. Release the brake lever and check that the rear wheels rotate freely. The full travel of the parking brake lever when properly adjusted is shown in Chapter 1.
6. Lower the vehicle and install the trim panel in place.
