2. Using a stethoscope, check the operation of the injector at idle.

3. Turn the ignition key to the "OFF" position.
4. Disconnect the injector electrical connector.
5. Using an ohmmeter, measure the resistance between the injector terminals (A).
Resistance (20°C) - 10 -13 Ohm

If the resistance is not as specified, replace the fuel injector.
Removal and installation (engine D17A)
1. Reduce the pressure in the fuel system.
2. Remove the air filter housing.
3. Disconnect the connectors of the injectors (A), intake manifold vacuum sensor (B), fuel vapor canister electro-pneumatic valve (C) and throttle position sensor (D), as shown in the figure "Removing and installing injectors".
Removal and installation injectors (engine D17A). A - injector, B - intake manifold vacuum sensor, C - fuel vapor accumulator electro-pneumatic valve, D - throttle position sensor, E - hose, F - cover, G - quick-release connection of fuel lines, H - fuel manifold, I - injector retainer, J - sealing ring.
4. Disconnect the hose from the fuel manifold (E).
5. Remove the fuel line quick release cap (F).
6. Disconnect the fuel line quick release coupling (G).
7. Unscrew the fuel manifold mounting nuts.
8. Remove the injector retainers (I) from the injectors.
9. Remove the injectors from the fuel manifold.
10. Installation of parts is carried out in the reverse order of removal.
Note:
- Use only new O-rings (J).
- Apply a small amount of engine oil to the O-rings (J) and install the injectors into the fuel rail (H).
- Make sure that the O-rings and the injector mating surface are thoroughly cleaned of foreign material. If necessary, wash them with gasoline.
- To avoid damaging the O-rings, install the injectors into the fuel rail first, then install the fuel rail assembly into the intake manifold.
11. Turn the ignition switch to the "ON" position for 2 seconds. Repeat 2 - 3 times.
Warning: Do not start the engine.
12. Check for fuel leaks.
