When the engine won't start
1. Disconnect the fuel injector connector and measure the resistance between the injector pins.
- Standard resistance: 10-13Δ
If resistance is not as specified, replace fuel injector (see below).
If the injectors are OK, perform the test below and if no faults are found, check the control unit (see above).
- K.z. or breakage of the e / wiring between the fuel injector and the connector, the reliability of the connection of the connector.
- K.z. or a break in the e / wiring between the fuel injector and the control unit, the reliability of the connection of the connectors.
- K.z. or a break in the yellow-black e / wiring from the power source.
When the engine starts
1. At the speed of x.x. disconnect the fuel injector connector on one cylinder and check the change and stability of the idle speed.
If the speed x.x. change, so the injector is working.
Replace the fuel injector on the cylinder where disconnecting the connector did not change idle speed. and recheck.
2. Using a phonendoscope (if missing, use a mounting screwdriver) listen to the sound of each fuel injector.
If there is no sound, replace the injector and recheck. If the injectors are OK, perform the test below and if no faults are found, check the control unit (see above).
- K.z. or breakage of e / wiring between the fuel injector and the connector, the reliability of the connection of the connector.
- K.z. or a break in the e / wiring between the fuel injector and the control unit, the reliability of the connection of the connectors.
- K.z. or a break in the yellow-black e / wiring from the power source.
