Crankshaft Position Sensor (D17A Engine) (Honda Civic 7)

1. Remove the cylinder head cover.

2. Remove the crankshaft pulley.

3. Remove the seal (A) from the upper timing belt cover and disconnect the crankshaft position sensor connector (B).



4. Remove the upper (C) and lower (D) timing belt covers.

5. Disconnect the connector from the sensor and remove the sensor (A).



6. The sensor is installed in the reverse order of removal.
