Control
1. Turn off the ignition.
2. Remove the fuse "HAZARD" from the fuse panel for 10 seconds to reset the EMU memory.
3. Start the engine and check that the indicator "CHECK ENGINE" blinking. Stop the engine.
4. With multipoint injection, the valve is cylindrical and located on the rear wall of the intake manifold. With two-point injection, the valve is located on the left side of the intake manifold. Disconnect the electrical connector from the valve. Measure the resistance between the sensor terminals and compare it with the specification data.
5. Check continuity between sensor terminals and "weight". There must be no conduction.
6. Turn the ignition key to the second position. Measure voltage between connector pins (between black and yellow (+) and blue-yellow (-) wires).
7. If the measured voltage is equal to the battery voltage, the EMU is defective.
8. If there is no voltage between the connector pins, measure the voltage between the black/yellow wire and "weight".
9. If there is no voltage, look for an open circuit in the black and yellow wire to fuse number 4.
10. In case of difficulty, contact a service station.
Replacement
11. Disconnect the electrical connector from the valve.
12. Turn away fixing screws and remove the valve.
13. Installation is made in the return to removal order.
