Air temperature sensor (models with injection) — control and replacement (Honda Civic 3)

Control

1. With the engine cold, disconnect the sensor electrical connector, which is located on the intake manifold. Measure the resistance between the two sensor terminals and compare it to the specifications.

2. If the result is negative, replace the sensor.

3. If the result is positive, but the malfunction indication continues, contact a service station: there may be a malfunction of the EMU.

Replacement

4. Disconnect the wires from the sensor.

5. Loosen the mounting screws and remove the sensor.
