2. The main element of the crankcase ventilation system is the positive pressure valve (KD), crankcase filter and connecting hoses.
3. At idle, when there is high vacuum in the intake manifold. KD creates resistance to the flow of crankcase gases. With a large amount of crankcase gases (for example, due to problems with piston rings) the system passes them through the air filter to facilitate the normal combustion process.
