1. Locate the light display on the electronic control module located:
- A) models of 1986,1987 - under the passenger seat;
- b) models since 1988 - under the front wall mat for the passenger's feet.

2. Turn the ignition switch to the second position. You will see four lights flashing in different combinations: the system is on.
3. If a fault is found during troubleshooting, the indicator light will turn on "PGM - FI" or "CHECK ENGINE" and the fault code will be recorded in the memory of the EMU. Remove the fuse to clear the fault code "HAZARD" (risk of damage) from the fuse panel for about 10 seconds. Carry out this operation only after the fault has been eliminated!
Attention: The EMU is battery powered. To avoid damage to the EMU, disconnect and connect cables to the battery only with the ignition off.
