1. Set the selector to the "N" position.

2. Remove the center console (see chapter "Body").

11. Tighten the automatic transmission control cable mounting nut.

10. Install the seal and cable bracket.

11. Connect the cable to the selector and tighten the nut.

12. Install the center console (see chapter "Body").

13. Turn on the ignition and make sure that the selector position indicator "N" lights up.

Adjust the cable if necessary.

Replacement (hatchback)



1. Jack up the car and place it on stands.

2. Remove the ashtray and center console (see chapter "Body").

3. Remove the selector trim (see chapter "Body").

4. Move the selector to the "R" position.

5. Slide the adjustment cap (A) of the cable end (D) as shown in the figure. Using pliers, remove the cable retainer (B).
