Note: Apply the parking brake before starting work.
1. Jack up the car.
2. Loosen the front wheel mounting nuts (A).

3. Drain the automatic transmission fluid (see chapter "Maintenance and general check and adjustment procedures").
4. Remove the front wheels (B).
5. Unlock the rim (D) of the wheel hub mounting nut (C).
6. Using a hex key (5 mm) (A) to hold the hinge pin (B), unscrew the nut (C) of the front suspension anti-roll bar attachment (D).

7. Remove the cotter pin (A) and unscrew the nut (B) securing the ball joint of the lower arm of the front suspension.

8. Using a special tool, disconnect the lower arm of the front suspension from the steering knuckle.
9. Using a plastic hammer, loosen the shaft fit in the wheel hub and remove the shaft from the hub.

10. Disconnect the drive shaft from the gearbox/intermediate drive shaft using a lever installed as shown in the figure.
