Checking the level
1. Start the engine and wait until the cooling fan starts.
2. Place the vehicle on a flat, horizontal surface.
3. Remove the automatic transmission fluid level dipstick (A), wipe it with a rag and install it back in place.

4. Remove the dipstick (A) and make sure that the working fluid level is between the marks (B).

If necessary, top up the automatic transmission fluid level to the established norm.
Working fluid type - ATF-Z1
5. Install the feeler gauge as shown in the figure.

Replacement
1. Start the engine and wait until the cooling fan starts.
2. Place the vehicle on a flat, horizontal surface.
3. Unscrew the drain plug (A) and drain the automatic transmission fluid.
4. Install a new gasket (B) on the plug and tighten the plug.
Tightening torque - 49 Nm
5. Fill the working fluid through the dipstick hole.
Working fluid type - ATF-Z1
Filling capacity:
2WD models:
- when replacing - 2.7 l
- full volume - 6.0 l
4WD models:
- when replacing - 2.9 l
- full volume - 6.8 l
6. Make sure that the working fluid level is correct and install the dipstick back into place.
