Note: Apply the parking brake before starting work.
1. Jack up the car.
2. Turn away nuts of fastening of forward wheels (A).
3. Drain the automatic transmission fluid (variator) or manual transmission oil (see chapter "Maintenance and General Procedures - Checks and Adjustments").
4. Remove the front wheels (IN).
5. Unlock the bezel (D) wheel hub nuts (With),
6. Turn away bolts (A) heat insulator fastenings (IN) and take it off.
7. Using a plastic mallet, loosen the shaft in the wheel hub and remove the shaft from the hub.
8. Remove cotter pin (A) and unscrew the nut (IN) mounting the ball joint of the lower arm of the front suspension.
9. Using a special tool, disconnect the lower front suspension arm from the steering knuckle.
10. Disconnect the drive shaft from the gearbox / intermediate drive shaft (4WD models), as it shown on the picture.
Right drive shaft (left hand drive and manual transmission models, right hand drive and 2WD models).
