1. Loosen the wheel nuts slightly.

11. Pry up the inner hinge (A) (left drive shaft) or knock on it (right drive shaft) pry bar and remove the drive shaft from the differential housing or bearing support assembly. Do not pull on the drive shaft (B), otherwise the inner joint may break. To avoid damaging the differential seal, remove the drive shaft in a straight line.
