a) The MIL indicator does not light.

2. (When using a tachometer) Connect the tachometer lead (A) to the connector (B).
3. (When using a scanner) Connect the scanner to the diagnostic connector.
4. Start the engine and set the crankshaft speed to 3000 rpm until the cooling fan turns on.
5. Measure the crankshaft speed with the cooling system fan and consumers turned off.
Idle speed:
- models with manual transmission - 700±50 rpm
- models with automatic transmission, CVT (selector in position "P" or "N") - 700±50 rpm
6. Measure the crankshaft speed after 1 minute with the heater fan on (HI) and the air conditioner on.
Rotation speed:
2WD:
- models with manual transmission - 780±50 rpm
- models with automatic transmission, CVT (selector in position "V" or "N") - 780±50 rpm
4WD:
- models with manual transmission - 720±50 rpm
- models with automatic transmission, CVT (selector in position "P" or "N") - 720±50 rpm
