Examination
1. Remove the radiator cap.
2. Make sure the coolant level is level with the radiator filler neck.
3. Make sure that the coolant level in the expansion tank on a cold engine is between the "MAX" (A) and "MIN" (B) marks.
K20A.
D15B, D17A.
4. If the level is low, add coolant.
Replacement
1. Start the engine, set the interior heater temperature switch to maximum heat, then turn off the engine and let it cool.
2. (K20A) Remove the radiator cap, lower protection and loosen the drain plug (A).

3. (D15B, D17A) Remove the battery. Remove the radiator cap, unscrew the radiator drain plug (A).

8. Fill the expansion tank with coolant up to the "FULL" mark and into the radiator.
Note: Use only special all-season coolant "Honda All Season Coolant Type 2". Using another coolant can lead to corrosion in the cooling system and its failure. The composition of the coolant is 50% antifreeze and 50% distilled water.
Filling capacity:
- K20A - 5.1 l
- D15B, D17A — 3.9 l
9. Install the radiator cap.
10. Start the engine and allow it to warm up to normal operating temperature.
11. Stop the engine, remove the radiator cap and check the coolant level, top up if necessary.
