Remove the rubber cover from the engine speed sensor connector located 1 on the right side of the engine and connect the tachometer.
If using the Honda PGM tester or an external diagnostic tool:
Connect the Honda PGM Tester or other diagnostic tool to the 16-pin diagnostic connector located on the left side of the center console.
2. On a cold engine (coolant temperature below 20°C), measure the idle speed 10 seconds after starting the engine.
- Idle speed on cold engine: 1300±200/min (position N or P)
If idle speed is not within specification, replace RACV and check again.
