1. Loosen the wheel fasteners, lift the car and place it on stands. Remove the wheels.

Models produced between 1984 and 1987.



2. Remove both rear hubs (see section 15).

3. Remove the brake drum support shields (see Chapter 9).

4. On the right side, unscrew the fastening of the control lever to the stabilizer (see Fig. 14.4, 18.5).

5. Remove the plug from the left side of the bridge beam.

6. Remove the two bolts securing the stabilizer to the axle beam.

7. Insert a stick of suitable length and diameter into the left side of the bridge beam and knock out the stabilizer.

8. Installation is performed in the reverse order of removal. Tighten the threaded connections with the force specified in the specification. Replace the self-locking fasteners with new ones. Tighten the stabilizer mounting bolts after installing the control arm.

9. After completing the work, bleed the brakes (see Chapter 9).

10. Remove the bolt securing the stabilizer to the bracket.

11. Unscrew the stabilizer holder bolts and remove it

12. Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal.
