Wheel alignment — general information (Honda Civic 3)

Wheel alignment ensures the correct position of the wheel relative to the ground and suspension. Incorrect wheel alignment reduces vehicle handling. On vehicles covered by this manual, only toe-in is adjusted, camber and caster angles are only checked to determine wear or damage to the suspension. On models produced since 1988, rear toe-in is also adjusted.

The front wheel alignment is adjusted using the tie rod ends. The rear wheel alignment is adjusted using the compensating lever.
