1. Raise the rear of the vehicle and support it on stands.
2. Place the jack under the bridge beam and lift it, loading the springs.
3. Remove the lower shock absorber mount (see section 21).
4. Lower the jack and compress the springs, remove them.
5. Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal.
