Wheels and tires — general information (Honda Civic 3)

The vehicles described in this manual are equipped with radial tires with steel or plastic cords (see fig. 30.1). Using tires of different sizes or designs may impair vehicle handling. Do not install tires of different types, this will significantly worsen handling

Keep an eye on your tire pressure to ensure longer mileage.

Replace wheels if they are bent, do not hold tire pressure, have loose bolt holes, are rusty, have lost symmetry ("figure eight") or do not hold the tightening of the mounting nuts. Wheel repair is not recommended.



Wheel balancing is very important for vehicle handling, proper brake operation and tire longevity.
