Warning:
- Make sure all rocker arms are aligned with the valves when tightening the bolts.
- The valve locknuts must be loosened and the adjustment screws removed before installation.
- To prevent the rocker arms in the assembly from breaking, leave the camshaft retainer bolts in the holes.
1. Clean the camshaft oil seal, journals and camshaft bed in the cylinder head, lubricate both surfaces and install the camshaft,
2. Clean and install the oil control hole with a new O-ring.
3. Rotate the camshaft until its keyway is in the upward direction (piston of the first cylinder at TDC).
4.Apply "liquid" gasket (P/N OY740 - 99986 or 08С70 -X0134S) to the contact surfaces of the holder No. 1 and No. 5 of the camshaft.
Attention. Clean and dry the cylinder head contact surfaces before applying "liquid" gaskets
- Apply "liquid" padding to the shaded areas.
5. Reinstall the rocker arm assembly and loosely install the bolts.
- Make sure the rocker arms are properly placed on the valve stems.
6. Tighten each bolt two turns at a time in the sequence shown below.
Attention. Remove excess with a rag "liquid" gaskets from holders No. 1 and No. 5 of the camshaft.
Tightening force:
- 8 mm bolts: 20 Nm
- Apply a coat of engine oil to the threads.
- 8 mm bolts: 12 Nm
- Apply a coat of engine oil to the threads.
- Bolts 6 mm: No. 11, No. 12, No. 13, No. 14
7. Install the rear cover, then install the camshaft pulley.
