Buttons for supplying outside air into the passenger compartment and air recirculation
The choice of the source of air intake into the passenger compartment is carried out using two buttons. When the mode is on, outside air enters the cabin. In the recirculation mode, the interior of the car is isolated from the atmosphere, and the air circulates in a closed circuit.
Outside atmospheric air enters the heating and air conditioning systems through an air intake grill located in front of the windshield. Periodically clean the intake grille openings of leaves and other debris that obstructs the passage of air.
In the absolute majority of cases, the best results of the operation of systems that provide a comfortable microclimate are achieved in the mode of intake of outside air into the passenger compartment. Prolonged activation of the air recirculation mode, especially when the air conditioner is not working, leads to moisture condensation on the windows.
Therefore, it is recommended to turn on the air recirculation mode only if necessary, for example, when driving in an area with a smoky or polluted atmosphere. As soon as it is no longer necessary to isolate the vehicle interior from the atmosphere, turn off the air recirculation mode.
