Note. Before driving off, adjust the position of the seat.
Front seat adjustment
Driver's seat
To adjust the fore/aft position of the seat, lift the release lever located at the front under the seat cushion. While holding the lever, move the seat forward or backward to a comfortable position. Then release the release lever. To check if the seat is secure, try moving it back and forth.
To change the angle of the seatback, lift the release lever located on the side of the seat cushion base (from the side of the door).
To check that the seatback is secure, try tilting it back and forth.
Driver's seat height adjustment
You can adjust the driver's seat height. To increase the seat height, pull up the adjustment lever located on the side of the seat cushion base several times (from the side of the door). To lower the seat height, press the adjustment lever several times.
During adjustment, move the lever up or down as far as it will go.
Headrests
All vehicle seats are equipped with head restraints to help prevent neck and head injuries in the event of a rear impact.
In order for head restraints to perform their protective functions effectively, they must be properly adjusted. Adjust the height of the head restraints so that the back of your head rests on the middle part of the head restraint.
The head restraint is adjusted with both hands at the same time, so do not attempt to adjust the head restraint while the vehicle is moving. To raise the head restraint, simply pull it up. In order to lower the head restraint, you must first press the release button on the side, shown in the figure. Press the button to lower the head restraint to the desired position.
Center rear seat head restraint
If the center rear seat will be occupied by a passenger, set the head restraint of this seat to the highest position.
Removing the head restraint for cleaning or replacement, as well as for folding the rear seat, is as follows. Raise the head restraint up to the stop. Then press the release button and remove the head restraint from the seat back.
Attention! After raising the folded rear seatback, be sure to reinstall the head restraint.
Armrests
Front armrest (for some vehicle variants)
You can use the box lid in the center console as a front armrest.
Make sure you don't pinch your fingers or the passenger's fingers when moving the cover.
Rear armrest (for some vehicle variants)
Lower the rear seat center armrest to a horizontal position if you wish to use it.
A cup holder is integrated into the center armrest of the rear seat.
Rear seats
The backrests of the left and right rear seats can be folded down to increase the volume of the luggage compartment.
In addition, both rear seat cushions can be lifted individually.
With one rear seat folded down, you can carry only one passenger in the back row. In this case, it is forbidden to ride together on the rear row seats, since with the rear seat folded down it is impossible to properly fasten the seat belt for the rear center seat.
Before folding the backrest or rear seat cushion, remove all objects from the seat.
Folding the rear seatback
Before folding the rear seat, make sure that no objects are left on the passenger compartment floor.
1. Replace the center armrest (to the raised position).
2. Place the seat belt into the bracket on each side.
3. Lower the head restraint to its lowest position.
4. Slide up the release lever located on the top of the backrest, closer to the door.
5. Tilt the backrest forward as far as it will go.
Attention! Do not place heavy loads on the back of the folded seat.
To raise the backrest, follow the above steps in reverse order. Check the backrest for secure fit. If the backrest is not locked in the raised position, the seat belt will not function properly. The lock lever will then be in the position where the red mark is visible on it.
Attention! Before driving the vehicle, make sure that the seatbacks are securely locked.
If you cannot fully fold the rear seatback because the headrest is pushing against the front seatback, remove the headrest.
Attention! After raising the folded rear seatback, be sure to reinstall the head restraint.
Raising the rear seat cushion
1. Replace the center armrest (to the raised position).
2. Place the seat belt into the bracket on each side.
3. Pivot up the seat cushion and press it against the backrest, then fold the seat support to secure it to the cushion. Check the security of the folded pillow.
To return the seat cushion to its working position, pull the support up until it stops. Then press the pillow down while holding it with your hand.
Make sure that the lowered cushion is securely fixed and that the support is in the correct position.
Seat heating (for some vehicle variants)
Both front seats of the car can be equipped with electric heaters that only work when the ignition is on (ignition key turned to position «ON» (II)).
Press the front of the switch button («HI»), to turn on the fast seat heating mode. Once the seat is at the desired temperature, press the back of the switch button («LO»), to enter the constant seat heating mode.
Working in intensive heating mode («HI»), the system turns off automatically after the seat is warm and then turns on again when the seat cools down.
Working in the mode of moderate heating («LO»), the system operates continuously without turning off and on automatically when the seat temperature changes.
Follow these guidelines when using the seat heating system:
- use the mode «HI» only for quick heating of the seats, since this mode intensively consumes electricity from the battery;
- do not turn on the electric seat heating even in the mode of moderate heating («LO») when the engine is not running and when the engine is idling for a long time. This can lead to severe battery discharge and difficulty starting the engine.
