2. Fill the inside of the new boot and lubricate the seat belt A with consistent grease. Avoid getting grease on the matte surfaces of the boot and lower hinge B.
3. Remove the grease from the surface of the conical part of pin C and fill the base D with fresh grease. Do not allow dirt or other foreign matter to enter the protective cover.
4. Place the boot on the ball joint and squeeze it slightly to release any air from it.
5. Press the cover with a special tool so that its lower part lies completely on the lower hinge.
6. After installing the cover, remove any traces of grease from the protruding part of the ball joint.
