Pedal height
1. Turn the brake light switch A counterclockwise and pull it out so that the switch rod does not touch the brake pedal.
2. Pull the carpet back and locate the slit in the insulating material. Lift the slit in the insulating material and measure the height B of the pedal, from the center of the left side of the clutch pedal pad to the floor C.
- Nominal height of pedal position (with the rug removed): 132 mm.
3. Loosen lock nut A on the booster rod and rotate rod B with pliers to achieve the correct pedal position relative to the floor. After adjustment, tighten the lock nut. Never adjust the pedal height by moving the booster rod.

Adjusting the brake light switch
4. Press the brake light switch until its rod is fully inserted (threaded part A touched platform B on the pedal). Then turn the switch 45° clockwise to lock it. When the brake light switch is locked, the gap between the switch and the pad is automatically adjusted to 0.7 mm. Make sure that the brake lights go out after the brake pedal is released.

5. Check the free travel of the brake pedal.

Free pedal travel
1. Turn off the engine. Measure the free travel of pedal A at the level of platform B when moving the pedal by hand.
- Free play: 1-5 mm.
