
2. Loosen the lock nut on the pedal pusher (at the top of the pedal); move the push rod in or out until the desired pedal height is reached. Remove the mats when measuring the pedal height.

Pedal height:
- 1984-85 Accord: 187 mm
- 1986-89 Accord: 205 mm
- 1990-91 Accord, manual: 190 mm
- 1990-91 Accord, automatic: 195 mm
- 1984-87 Prelude: 176 mm
- 1988-91 Prelude, manual: 176 mm
- 1988-91 Prelude, automatic: 183 mm
3. Tighten the lock nut on the pushrod securely.
4. Screw in the brake light switch until the plunger is fully depressed. (The threaded end should touch the pedal arm.) Back out the switch a half turn and tighten the lock nut.

5. Check the operation of the brake light; the signal should come on immediately after the pedal is pressed and go out when the pedal is released.
