Pedal height
1. Turn the brake pedal position switch (A) counterclockwise and unscrew it so that it no longer contacts the brake pedal.
2. Turn back the mat and measure the height of the pedal (B) from the center of the pedal pad (C) through the cutout in the insulating layer.
Standard pedal height (with the floor mat removed): minimum 173 mm
3. Loosen the push rod lock nut (A) and use pliers to screw the push rod in or out until the standard pedal height from the floor is achieved. After adjustment, tighten the lock nut securely. Do not adjust the pedal height while the push rod is depressed.
4. Screw in the brake pedal position switch until its plunger is fully depressed (the threaded end (A) touches the pad (B) on the pedal arm). Then turn the switch 45' clockwise and lock it. When the switch is locked, the gap between the brake pedal position switch and the pad is automatically set to 0.7 mm. Make sure that the brake lights go out when the pedal is released.
