1. Two ball joints are used in the suspension of each of the front wheels. The upper support is planted in the assembly of the upper arm, cannot be dismantled, and in case of failure it changes along with the latter (see Removal and installation of the upper control arm of the front suspension).
2. The lower ball joint is seated in the steering knuckle, from where it can be removed using special tools. If the support is worn, remove the steering knuckle (see Removal and installation of the steering knuckle and hub assembly) and deliver the assembly to the car service workshop. It would be better to entrust the replacement to professionals.
