2. Pack the lower portion of the ball pin (A) with fresh multi-purpose grease.
3. Pack the new boot (B) and lip (C) from the inside with fresh multi-purpose grease.
Pack new grease taking into account the following:
- Do not apply grease to the boot installation area (D) and the cone area (E) of the ball pin.
- Do not allow dust, dirt or other foreign substances to enter the case.
4. Install the new cover (A) using the special tool. There should be no gaps in the areas where the cover is installed (B). After installing the boot, check for grease or dirt on the conical area of the ball pin and wipe it off if necessary.
