The suspension of each front wheel uses two ball joints. The upper joint is mounted in the upper arm assembly, the lower joint is secured in the steering knuckle. The suspension of the rear wheels uses one ball joint, each of which is mounted in the upper end of its upper arm. At the time of writing this Manual, the production of individual replacement ball joints had not been established. In the event of failure of the joints, the entire corresponding assembly (upper arm or steering knuckle) must be replaced.
