Removal and installation the front anti-roll bar with support bushings (Honda Civic 6)

1. Set the parking brake. Loosen the front wheel nuts. Jack up the front of the car and place it on supports. Remove the wheels.



2. Remove the bolts securing the mounting brackets of the anti-roll bar to the underbody of the vehicle (see accompanying illustration).



3. Disconnect the stabilizer bar strut bolts from the lower suspension arms (see accompanying illustration). Try to remember the order of installing the spacer rings, washers and bushings on the strut mounting bolt.

4. Remove the anti-roll bar from under the vehicle.

5. Remove the mounting brackets from the rod and carefully inspect the rubber bushings for cracks, signs of hardening and aging of the material. Defective bushings must be replaced.

6. Installation is carried out in reverse order.
