2. From underneath the vehicle, remove the through bolt and nut and disconnect the control arm rod from the control rod.
3. Remove washers, bushings, spacers and rubber rings.

4. Unscrew and remove the lever handle.
5. Remove the center console (see Chapter 11).
6. Remove the dust cover, spring retainer and remove the lever.
7. Remove the ball joint seat, support holder, rubber ring and dust cover.
8. Inspect and replace damaged or worn parts.
9. Installation is performed in the reverse order of removal. Do not forget to fill the spacer with grease and tighten the hinge bolt.
