Removal
1. Remove the timing chain housing.

2. Turn the crankshaft counterclockwise to compress the automatic tensioner.

3. Align the holes on the lock A and the automatic tensioner B, then insert the 2.5mm diameter calibration pin (P/N 13451-RBD-003) C into the holes. Turn the crankshaft clockwise to tighten the calibration pin.
4. Remove the automatic tensioner.
Installation
1. Install the automatic tensioner.
2. Remove the calibration pin from the automatic tensioner.
3. Remove any remaining old liquid gasket from the mating surfaces of the timing chain, bolts and their holes.
4. Clean and dry the contact surfaces of the timing chain housing.

5. Apply liquid sealant, P/N 08C70-K0234M or 08C70-K0334M, evenly to the mating surfaces of the timing chain housing.
Note: If 5 minutes or more have passed since applying liquid sealant, do not install components. Instead, remove the old liquid sealant and apply a new layer.

6. Install the timing chain housing.
Note: Wait 30 minutes before adding oil to the engine.
Do not run the engine for at least 3 hours after installing the timing chain cover.
