1. «MIST»: intermittent wiper operation (until the lever is released).
2. «OFF»: Turn off the wipers.
3. «INT»: intermittent wiper operation («AUTO» - For vehicles with automatic windshield wipers).
4. «LO»: Continuous wiper operation at low speed.
5. «HI»: Continuous wiper operation at high speed.
6. Windshield washer.
The windshield wipers are operated by moving the windshield wiper and washer control lever up or down.
You can adjust the duration of the pause between strokes of the brushes using the adjusting ring located on the lever «INTTIME» (delay time).
If you set the interval to the shortest, the windshield wiper will automatically switch to low speed when the speed exceeds 20 km/h.
If the vehicle is stopped in gear, the wiper arms will swing when you take your foot off the brake pedal.
Windshield washer switch
To operate the windshield washer, push the combined control lever towards you and hold the lever. At the same time, liquid from the washer reservoir will be continuously supplied through the nozzles to the windshield until you release the lever. Simultaneously with the operation of the washer, the windshield wipers are also switched on, which operate in low speed mode. After releasing the lever, the wiper blades make one more stroke and then turn off.
Headlight washers (for some vehicle variants)
To operate the windshield and headlight washers at the same time, push the combined control lever towards you. In this case, outdoor lighting must be turned on.
Headlight washers use fluid from the same reservoir as the windshield washer.
Automatic windshield wiper (for some vehicle variants)
The automatic windshield wiper is controlled by the rain sensor. To activate the mode «AUTO» move the windshield wiper control down.
If the sensor registers rain, then, at its signal, the wiper automatically turns on, the operating mode of which (intermittent, low or high speed) set depending on the intensity of the rain. The windshield wiper can operate in automatic mode if the vehicle speed exceeds 10 km/h.
If the wiper control lever is set to «LO» («Low speed») or «HI» («High speed»), the automatic mode is canceled and the wiper will operate at the set speed.
The sensitivity of the rain sensor system can be adjusted by turning the inscribed ring «AUTO», located on the wiper control lever.
Rain sensor
The rain sensor is located in the upper center area of the windshield next to the interior rearview mirror. If the sensor is covered with a layer of dust, dirt, oil, etc., the wipers will not work properly.
Attention! Do not set the wiper to automatic mode when driving through an automatic car wash. Turn off the system when not in use.
