The blinds of the two upper hatches can be opened. The front blind rolls back onto the central holder, while the rear blind simultaneously slides forward. The blinds are controlled by a switch located on the upper console. The ignition key must be turned to the "ON" (II) position.
To open the shades, press and hold the back of the switch. When the shade reaches the desired position, release the switch. Likewise, to close the shades, press and hold the front of the switch. When the shade reaches the desired position, release the switch.
Warning! The sunroof curtain may severely pinch and injure a hand or fingers caught in the sunroof opening.
Before closing the curtain, make sure that the opening in the roof is completely clear and there is no danger of pinching the hand or fingers of any of the passengers.
If you exit a vehicle with passengers remaining, be sure to remove the key from the ignition and take it with you.
"AUTO" mode
To fully open the sunroof in automatic mode, press firmly on the back of the switch, then release it. This will open the sunroof fully. You can stop the sunroof movement at any time by pressing the switch.
To fully close the sunroofs in automatic mode, press firmly on the front of the switch, then release it. This will fully close the sunroofs. You can stop the sunroof curtain movement at any time by pressing the switch.
To partially open or partially close the sunroof, lightly press and hold the front or rear of the switch, respectively. The sunroof will stop as soon as you release the switch.
Autoreverse (automatic glass return mode)
If the sunroof blind is closed automatically and an obstacle is encountered in its path, the blind automatically stops moving and starts moving in the opposite direction, then stops. To close the sunroof, remove the obstacle from its opening and press the switch again.
Even with this feature, you should always check the safe position of all passengers in the car before closing the sunroof blinds. The auto-reverse mode does not function if the sunroof is already almost completely closed.
The electric sunroofs remain operational for 10 minutes after the ignition is switched off, but this function is no longer operational after any front door is opened.
