Examination
1. Pull the parking brake lever A towards you with a force of 196 N. The parking brake lever should lock after a certain number of clicks.
Number of clicks before the lever stops: from 8 to 9.

2. If the number of lever clicks is too great, adjust the parking brake.
Adjustment
1. Release the parking brake lever completely.
2. Remove cover A from the center console.
3. Loosen the parking brake adjusting nut B.

4. Raise the rear of the vehicle and place safety stands in appropriate places.
5. Remove the rear wheel.
6. Make sure that the parking brake lever A on the rear brake caliper is connected to the stepped part B.
Note: The parking brake lever will only be connected to the step part when the adjusting nut is loosened.

7. Install the rear wheel.
8. Pull the parking brake lever toward you one click.

9. Tighten the parking brake adjusting nut until the rear wheels begin to brake.
10. Release the parking brake lever completely and check that the rear wheels rotate freely and do not touch the brake pads. Repeat the adjustment if necessary.
11. Check the effectiveness of the parking brake by pulling the lever to its full stroke.
12. Install the cover on the center console.
