Replacing the brake pedal (Honda Civic 8)

1. Disconnect the brake light switch electrical connector A.

2. Remove locking pin B and pin C.

Note: Use a new locking pin for each installation.

3. Remove the brake pedal mounting bolt D and nuts E.

4. Remove the brake pedal mounting bracket F together with the brake pedal.

5. Install in the reverse order of removal.

6. Adjust the brake pedal and brake pedal position sensor.
