Note: Parking brake cables must not be bent or damaged. This will cause the cables to be stiff and cause premature failure.
If necessary, use the drawing of the power steering in a disassembled state.
1. Release the parking brake lever completely.
2. Remove the parking brake cable clamp A from the cable B.
3. Disconnect the parking brake cable from lever C.
4. Remove the parking brake cable fasteners, then remove the cable.
5. Install the parking brake cable in the reverse order of removal. Note the following.
Caution: Be careful not to bend or damage the cable.
Make sure the parking brake cable clamp is fully seated on the cable housing.
Adjust the parking brake.
